This unit is called Advanced Research. It will help me to understand more clearly the processes and techniques i will be using throughout the third year and help me apply them to the films i work on.
I will try to pinpoint my specialisms in this unit, and then try to research them more deeply, and find out certain things i know i will need to know before the beginning of the second term of the third year.
Once i have pinpointed specialisms, i will be performing different tests, and try-outs and quick renders to help me come to conclusions about whether the method is an appropriate one to use in the final film, and whether or not i am capable of using the methods. I will be documenting my progress throughout this time, and will be providing commentary on what i think worked well, what didn't work so well, any problems i had, and finally my thoughts and feelings about each specialist area.
